During the past eight weeks of the public health emergency and associated government restrictions our team have been working tirelessly with all our stakeholders to assess the viability of operating our programmes in Ireland as usual this summer. Our hope was to provide scaled-back summer camps at all of our centres subject to it being safe to do so. However, as the education sector falls within phase 5 of the government’s lifting of restrictions in Ireland, we would not realistically have been in a position to operate our office and learning centres until 10th August at the earliest. Given this fact and in the interests public health and safety and the well-being of all our students, teachers, host families and staff, which are paramount to us, we have now decided to defer all of our summer programmes until next year.

On a positive front, we do expect to welcome an influx of overseas students for our academic and mini-stay programmes once it is safe to do so, as well as providing new and innovative programme options (including on-line courses) for both secondary level and adult students in the coming months.

2021 also promises to be an exceptional year for Equinox, with many of the individuals, groups and school clients that could not travel Ireland this year committing to return in larger numbers in the coming year, again, once it is safe to do so. On behalf of myself and all of the team at Equinox, we would like to thank all of our students, host families, seasonal staff, partner agents and schools for their ongoing allegiance with us and we look forward to working for you, and with you in the near future.
.
In the meantime, please keep SAFE AND POSITIVE!

Regards,

Noel and #TeamEquinox
